The Designated Safeguarding Lead – DSL Course course is designed to educate you with everything that you need for protecting the children’s welfare and vulnerable adults of your organisation as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). Our experienced instructors formulated this course to make you understand the entire process and protocols of safeguarding.
This higher level of safeguarding training will provide you with the knowledge of child protection and policies, initial assessment process, when to make a referral, how the local community deal in such incidence and how to liaise with authorities. Along with these, you will learn how to be careful and identify any abuse or neglect that occurred with children of special needs. The course also includes how to concern other staff of your organisation, raise awareness of child protection to the parents as well as the local community, and maintain the records of all concerns and referrals.
